 Welcome! Served by the Order of Carmelites, province of St. Elias, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish was founded in 1912 in Middletown, New York and is a part of the Archdiocese of New York. OUR MISSION STATEMENT Our primary mission is to follow Jesus Christ through Word and Sacrament, in the spirit of Mary and Elijah the prophet. We are a Eucharistic community whose lives center on liturgical worship and the celebration of the sacraments. As a parish we strive to establish a close sense of community by encouraging and developing a sense of service to all God’s people through lay participation, accountable administration, consensus, and involvement in the local community. Parish Center: Built in 2005 with a full kitchen and tri-sectioned area, the center serves the community for meetings, receptions, bingo games, senior luncheons, conference location, dinner dances, and family faith events.
